Cordo-Mesoblastic Biotype with anti-rotation of the occlusal plane (Federici law of agreement)
Fixed prosthetic rehabilitation on natural teeth and implants of a patient.
The purpose of rehabilitation is to restore the tooth structure preserving and improving functional efficiency.
The aim of rehabilitation is to pursue the form status that is in accordance with its functional expression.
To do this we used an intraoral recording done with Paterson tracks that we have been using for years in rehabilitation.
The technique that “WE” have extended to rehabilitation in fixed Prosthodontics is to implant in order to align the “constituents” of the occlusal plane, such as determinants of occlusion, in harmonious connection with the condylar and muscle path.
The aim is to ensure a balanced bilateral occlusion masticatory organ with symmetrical masticatory angles AFMP alternating the side of chewing.
With this process, the patient does not feel any change in his biomechanic condition from temporary pre-filling to the final rehabilitation other than an increased state of well-being.
We firmly believe that the anatomy under an aesthetic profile cannot be a value in its own right especially if the anatomy disables the masticatory physiology and the best beauty is expressed by a harmony of form that takes into account many factors including the influential affinity biotype.
The occlusal interproximal abrasions which teeth go through, fall within the principle of adaptation of form to function.
Dr. W. Maier declares that the newly erupted tooth, with all its anatomical wholeness, is an unrefined part that only with the function and usage inserts itself into the reality of a human bite.
Dr. Pedro Planas says that alternate chewing is at the basis of a perfect functional process enabling to constantly improve our biological balance.
